SHIP LV POWER PLANT and TESTING ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS are both presented as a self-contained eBook that incorporates several interactive simulations of various shipboard electrical devices. The individual chapters are accessed via the Main Menu screen by clicking on the selected chapter.
Selecting the “Simulations” button will display a table of simulations attached to that chapter. Highlight the desired simulation and press “View Simulation”. If a particular chapter includes interactive simulations a “Simulations” button will display at the bottom left-hand side of the screen.
A scrolling page will display outlining the simulation and giving instructions on how to interact with the simulation animation. The button labelled “Run the Simulation Animation” loads and runs the interactive simulation.
